1. What Khep is

Khep is online software that helps a business record and manage its own work: entries, freight receipts, LRs, tracking scans, trips, tour bookings, payments received, reports and reminders. Khep is only a tool. We do not transport goods, run tours, collect or hold anyone's money, or take part in any deal between a business and its customers, parties, drivers or travellers. Those deals, and any loss, damage, delay or dispute about goods, journeys or payments, are between those people. We are not a carrier, agent, broker or tour operator.

2. Accounts

A business gets a business code and creates logins for its staff. The business is responsible for who it gives access to and for keeping passwords secret.
Owners can add and remove staff. Tell us at once if you think an account is being misused.

3. The business's responsibilities

The records you enter are yours and your responsibility: their accuracy, and having the right to record your customers' details and send them messages and links.
Tax and legal paperwork (GST invoices, e-way bills, permits, insurance and so on) remains your responsibility, even where Khep helps you note or print details.
Do not use Khep for anything unlawful, to send spam, or to try to break into or overload the service.

4. Fees

Any fee is agreed with you in advance and shown clearly; there are no hidden charges. If an agreed fee is not paid, we may pause the business's account after telling you. While paused, your data is kept safe and you can still ask for a copy of it.

5. Your data

Your records belong to you. You can download them at any time, and we handle them as described in our Privacy policy. If you stop using Khep, you can ask us to delete them.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep Khep running and backed up, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted (for example network problems or maintenance). Khep keeps entries made without network on the phone and sends them when the network returns. We improve Khep over time and may change or retire features; we will give notice of important changes.

7. Limits of our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses (such as lost business or profit), or for losses arising from deals, goods, journeys or payments between a business and others. Our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the fees the business paid us for Khep in the 3 months before the claim.

8. Ending use

You can stop using Khep at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, after notice where possible.

9. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Nagpur, Maharashtra have jurisdiction. We will first try to resolve any issue by talking to you.
